In a world obsessed with the "new," we often treat the past as a weight to be shed. At the Monfort Foundation (MFI), we see it differently. We believe that the future isn't built by abandoning our roots, but by blending the faithfulness of our history with the innovative energy of tomorrow.

Monfort Foundation is not just a simple organization for us, it’s a passion project built by family and our community. Every project and decision we make, we build with intention to make sure it won’t deviate from our core - empower and deliver hope to communities in a holistic way. 

The seed that started Monfort

Our story began 32 years ago with a simple gift: a booklet titled "Read Me or Rue It." Touched by its message, our founders, Dr. Narciso "Narcing" Monfort and Mrs. Chita Monfort, printed 1,000 copies and planted the seed for an army of intercessors. This led to the birth of the Prayer Warriors of the Holy Souls (PWHS) and the formal registration of the Monfort Foundation, Inc. on September 23, 1993.

From the endorsement of the late Jaime L. Cardinal Sin to the establishment of the St. Louis de Montfort Academy in 2007 and the grassroots Monfort Cup for youth football, our history is one of "enlarging our territory." As Jabez prayed in 1 Chronicles 4:10, we have sought to expand our reach not for power, but to serve, ensure quality education in the countryside, and keep the flame of spiritual devotion alive.

Rooted in Faith

Prayer and faith are the compass that guides who we are. We believe that to lead is to listen—to the Divine, to the people, and to the times—ensuring our practice always aligns with our eternal values. We’ve witnessed miracles that only God can do and this is why we continue the mission to uplift communities and pass on the grace and love we received. 

Driven to Love 

The greatest of these is love. Love is what we carry in our projects and to every individual we interact with. Love manifests itself in the way we make decisions, who we partner with, and the projects we build.

We understand that true progress requires more than just a single intervention. By addressing the spiritual, physical, and intellectual needs of our communities, we move beyond simple "resilience."
